  •  Decided who will be the reader/runner/speaker – listener/writer. 
    • Readers : Do NOT use paper and pens.

Vocab Quiz  Forgot to create the answer key after I mixed the question types from two different vocab quiz version from the past. Added their vocabulary experiences part to get to know more about their learning history and give fast students something to do... Day4: Note-taking, flashcards, and part of speech

- Because of the snow day, we met after one week. then, I just wanted to make them to be more active, so I  made sudden changes at the last minute -- just before the class. - thought the group work (corner discussion) would work like an icebreaker, but somehow, things got complicated. they are not familiar with one another yet. - Brazilian teachers are more advanced then other students, which created a different dynamic. There were some quiet students who did not talk that much. - Was still too conscious of my unstable non-native like awkward english expressions sometimes. - Covered most of the things that I planned - but still not sure how much students could have learned.  --- > some classroom assessment techniques are necessary. - Vocabulary quiz will be Jan 30th. Test-taking strategies will be discussed later on the course; then this vocab test will serve as how students are familiar with test formats, and also about myself becoming better at using the ques...
