Reflection
Found myself still focusing more on scoring and how to make point assignment fair to students rather than improve the content of the assessment
This is due to the previously experiences with score-(results) oriented culture of developing the test and how objectivity is preserved to avoid controversy over the tests among students and parents.
creating portfolio- to give one more chance to improve their answers as part of participation point (extra credit?)
Since I have never given a second chance to students to students to solve the same questions again to improve it. They might need to consult to dictionry or other type of resources but... giving a feedback and beneficial washback of the assessment, ??( find some sources about ... beneficial washback. - known to me as an academic concept, not something I have really tried in practice)
Not every single words should be productively used by the students. When asking them to produce their own sentences, or creating some test items this should be carefully considered.
i found myself forgetting about the outcomes and base activities and assessment on my own expereicnes of teaching, which should be ... changed?
I showed how to use CC or automated caption on youtube videos for learning purposes and not many students knew that - which was surprising. Cuz tech savvy Korean students almost knew them.
